This 900,000-ton cement ball mill grinding station is located in Jiaxing, China. Because it is located in a developed economic zone, the project owner chooses to purchase clinker from Guangxi and Vietnam for further processing and finally make cement products.

The characteristics of this project are that it attaches importance to environmental protection, increases the investment in environmental protection equipment and facilities, and realizes dust-free production.

Based on the design principle of tube mill process, the equipment and process are integrated and optimized in practical applications, and the latest technology of crushing and grinding full separation is adopted to maximize the potential of cement ball mill.

A new set of TL52 air selection pre-grinding is built, and a 3.2×13m ball mill is used for high-yield and high-fine grinding. The output of a single machine is 8090t/h, and the enterprise scale is 600,000 tons of cement per year (PC32.5 grade).

What is the process flow of this 2500 tpd cement factory?

  • Mixed material drying: The moisture content of raw material mixed material slag is between 15%. If the moisture content is high, mixed drying will seriously affect the grinding output, so drying treatment is necessary. Therefore, a 2.4×18m Tongli dryer is used with high-efficiency and energy-saving boiling furnace technology. The dust collector is a pulse dust collector dedicated to the dryer, model PPC96-8 (processing air volume 45000~55000 m3/h).
  • Batching: The design uses five circular silos, including two 48x20m circular silos for clinker storage (storage capacity is 2,000 tons), one φ8x20m circular silo for slag storage (storage capacity is 800 tons), two φ8x20m circular silos for slag and limestone storage (storage capacity is 400 tons and 500 tons respectively), and a φ4x15m circular silo for gypsum storage (storage capacity is 100 tons).
  • Grinding: Material grinding system: After the raw materials are weighed at the bottom of the warehouse, they are sent to the TL52 air separation mill for pre-grinding using a TD800 belt conveyor. The system is equipped with a ZJ500 dynamic powder selector and a PPC550 air box pulse bag dust collector as a system for collecting and sorting fine powder. The fine powder collected by the dust collector is the finished product, which can be directly stored in the cement warehouse after mixing. The coarse powder from the powder selector is lifted with the mill tail of the air separation mill and sent to the φ3.2×13m cement mill (open circuit high fine mill). A PPC96-6 air box pulse bag dust collector (maximum processing air volume of 40,000m³/h) is equipped at the mill tail to achieve ventilation and flow rate in the mill, and to discharge fine powder and tiny particles in the mill in time. The materials collected by the dust collector are generally qualified products and can be directly sent to the finished product warehouse.
  • Finished product warehouse and packaging: The ground cement is sent to four 12x22m cement warehouses (storage capacity: 12,000 tons) through finished product elevators. There are two options for cement delivery: bulk and packaged. Bulk cement is bulked at the warehouse side, which not only saves equipment investment but also reduces production costs. Cement is packaged using two eight-mouth packaging machines with a packaging capacity of up to 200 tons/hour. In addition, it is equipped with 4 sets of automatic loading machines, which can directly load the packaged paper bags into trucks.
